What I actually believe about social media
Brand Authority
Empowering female founders to focus on their core operations while we handle the sophisticated management of their digital identity.
I've been doing social media for years - agency side, freelance, and most recently as a community manager for Latest Deals. I've built brands from scratch, run whitelisting campaigns, and managed accounts for businesses that had no idea what to post on a Tuesday.
Somewhere along the way I worked out the thing that actually matters. It isn't the clever campaign. It's turning up, every week, when things get busy.
Two years ago, my mum became very poorly. I looked after her, and then I lost her.
During that time, my business went on the back burner. It had to. I'm not going to pretend that was a strategic decision - it was just what happened, and I'd make the same choice again.
I'm back now, and I'm rebuilding. Properly this time. That's part of why I do this work with women-led businesses: I know exactly what it's like to be the person holding everything together, and to have the things you care about slide because something else needed you more.
If that's where you are, I get it. That's the whole reason I built three levels of support instead of one - because "I need a plan" and "I need this off my desk entirely" are very different problems, and you shouldn't have to pick the expensive one.
Consistency beats cleverness. Every time. The business that posts every week beats the one that posts something brilliant every three months.
You don't need to be everywhere. You need to be where your customers are, properly.
Your voice is the asset. Not a template. Not AI. You.
It should take less of your time, not more. If it's eating your week, something's wrong.
